Purpose

Breadcrumbs act as secondary navigation, helping the user understand a page’s location, the hierarchical structure of the website, and navigate back through the previous pages.

Anatomy

The Breadcrumbs component can be broken down into the following elements -

1. Previous page(s)
   Link(s) to the parent page(s) that were previously visited.

2. Chevron
   The Chevron Icon helps to understand the steps in the path.

3. 3. Current page
   Displays the name of the page currently visited.
