Testimonials - Usage

Basic Guidelines

The Testimonials section is used to display product awards, reviews, or recognitions in a prominent and consistent format.

Please see the Blockquote Component, for full guidelines on this part of the section.

It can hold up to three quotes, which turn into a carousel on smaller screen sizes with non-optional bottom navigation.

Content limit

There can be a maximum of three and a minimum of one Blockquotes per Testimonials section.

Character limits

There are no character limits on the Testimonials section, however we do recommend you try to keep the amount of content consisted between each Blockquote.

Sections are always placed at full width of the viewport.

Colour Usage

No colours can be changed in this section, including the stars.

Background colour

The background of all Discovery sections must remain white as per brand guidelines.

Image Sizing

All logos have a maximum width and height size. If the logo is square, you may wish to resize the logo to fit the height of the placement box. Please refer to the Blockquote documentation on more information on how to fit the logo properly.

Notes on Accessibility

All images within the Testimonials section must include descriptive Alt Text to ensure accessibility, unless the image is purely decorative and adds no meaningful content. For instance, if the brand name is already present in citation text and the logo simply repeats that name visually, the logo can be considered decorative and would need a blank alt tag.

The star rating includes visually hidden text so that screen reader users receive the correct context i.e. “Rating: 4 stars”.
